Event
3rd APCA Conference
Its theme, Creativity in Practice, reflects both the current reality of palliative care provision on the continent – which demands a great deal of creativity from its overstretched practitioners – and the resourcefulness we will all need to draw on in the future if we want to realise APCA’s vision of high-quality palliative care for all in Africa who need it.
APCA’s conferences are a lynchpin for palliative care provision in Africa. They bring together the continent’s clinical practitioners and national associations; people who make decisions that affect palliative care funding, availability and teaching; supporters and donors from beyond Africa, and technical experts in fields such as advocacy, research, organisational development, communications and fundraising.
In particular, Creativity in Practice will serve as a forum for delegates to identify key trends, challenges and opportunities; exchange knowledge and experience; explore new approaches and ways forward; influence key decision makers in palliative care provision; build support networks among colleagues, and develop skills through expert-led workshops.
